Creating a Great Bridal Bouquet

Bridal Bouquets

Flowers add beauty to almost any occasion, and you may be hard pressed to find a wedding that does not include them. Even the smallest weddings use flowers, and these are usually for the bridal bouquets and corsages for the male attendants. These are often a staple, and most people put a lot of time and energy into picking the perfect flowers for their bridal bouquets. If you are on a limited budget you don’t have to worry. You can find inexpensive ways to make sure you have the bouquet you want for a price you can live with.

You have a choice of fresh or silk flowers. What you want is up to you. Fresh flowers may look better, but if you use silk flowers you will save more money, and you will be able to save your bouquet. Some women like to have their bridal bouquets preserved, but you really can’t do this with live flowers. There are companies that can press and preserve a few flowers out of the bouquet, but it won’t compare to saving a silk arrangement. They can also build a special frame that includes a poem of your choice along with either dried flowers or some of the silk flowers you choose. This is a great memento is you choose to have it done.

If you want to make your own bridal bouquets, you can go to a flower store to pick fresh flowers on your own. You can drag your wedding party along to help if you feel unsure. The great thing about this is that you can choose what you want, and it is hard to make a bad choice. So many colors and flowers compliment each other, and you will find that it won’t be hard to choose what you think you want. Often you just choose your favorite flowers or colors and the bouquet will come together on its own.

If you want silk flowers, you can go to almost any craft store and choose what you like. Most of the silk flowers of today look very life like, and you will be amazed at what you can do. Most craft stores know that many people come in specifically to choose flowers for bridal bouquets, and they are ready to help you out. They can help you choose everything you need, and they can also give you directions on how to put bridal bouquets together so they look their best.

It would be more personal to create your own bridal bouquet, but sometimes, you just dont know how to start, or which flowers to pick.

i'm quite fortunate to have my friend who is a Poulsbo florist for assistance.
